Business ADSL makeover boosts speed & quotas
As well as cutting $30 from the cost of an entry-level Business ADSL2+ to just $59, Internode has introduced its first truly Unlimited quota Business ADSL2+ plans, starting from $299. These prices include a $10 discount offered when these plans are bundled with a NodeLine Business phone service.
In this radical revision of its Business plans, Internode now offers just three tiers of Business ADSL services: Business Extreme and Business NakedExtreme plans, running at ADSL2+ Annex M speeds as fast as 24 megabits per second (Mbps); and Business Fast plans, with high speed ADSL1/ADSL2+ available nationwide.
All Business ADSL plans running at 1.5 Mbps or slower have been 'grandfathered', which means they are maintained for existing customers but are no longer offered for sale.
Internode Business ADSL plans offer broadband services that are designed specifically to meet the needs of commercial and corporate organisations. Features include priority technical support, static IP addresses, optional subnets, download-only quotas and half-cent per megabyte excess charges. Internode has also introduced a maximum excess charge of $299 per month across the range.
Internode product manager Jim Kellett said the stand-out feature of the Business plan overhaul was providing larger data quotas for less money. “Business ADSL plans haven't received as much attention in recent plan upgrades, so we decided it was time for an extreme makeover!” he said.
“Maximum price caps and Unlimited plans are a couple of things we've planned to introduce for some time, so we’ve taken this opportunity to do just that. By boosting data quotas and offering a $10 bundling discount with a NodeLine Business phone service, we’re making high speed Business broadband more affordable for all Australian businesses.
“All existing Internode Business ADSL customers are being notified, and can take advantage of the improved plans - simply by logging in to our online plan changer and selecting the new plan that best suits them. New customers will see that Internode offers better performance, better quotas and better prices than other plans in the market.”
The new Internode Business ADSL plans will be available from midday on Wednesday 16th June 2010.
