Internode tops TIO table in customer satisfaction rate
In an analysis of the TIO statistics for 2011 published at http://www.tio.com.au/publications/statistics, the Bernoulli Trial ISP statistics blog site compared TIO complaint numbers for each Internet Service Provider with their estimated market share, based on Roy Morgan Research during 2010
Internode topped the table with just 0.8 per cent of complaints compared to its estimated market share of 2.9 per cent. The analysis calculates the total ISP market as including both fixed line and wireless Internet services.
"The ISP that recorded the lowest number of TIO complaints as a proportion of number of customers was Internode, with a massive normalised score of 3448," stated the website, which normalised the results so that an industry-average performance is counted as 1000, with higher scores being better.
