Internode sponsors Fringe with free WiFi for 2013
As a major sponsor, Internode will provide free Internet access via WiFi hotspots around the Fringe Club, Rundle Mall, and other Fringe locations. Internode has sponsored the Fringe for the past decade.
Internode's Adelaide Fringe sponsorship comes just two weeks after the company's announcement that it is Presenting Partner for next year's WOMADelaide Festival, which runs alongside the Fringe.
Internode founder Simon Hackett said he was delighted to announce the sponsorship for the Adelaide Fringe. "This extends Internode's support of the arts in South Australia," he said.
"By providing free wireless Internet access throughout the Adelaide CBD, including at many Fringe venues, Internode helps people to quickly and easily find what shows are on and where they're located."
"We look forward to Internode playing its part in making the 2013 Adelaide Fringe the best ever."
Excitement is building about the 2013 Adelaide Fringe which last week unveiled its poster for next year and also announced its Fringe 2013 ambassador: comedian, performer, and TV host Paul McDermott.
Running from February 17 to March 15, 2013, the Adelaide Fringe is Australia's largest arts festival, offering more than 900 events at pop-up venues in parks, warehouses, lane-ways, and empty buildings as well as established venues such as theatres, hotels, art galleries, cafes, and town halls.
Internode's sponsorship will see it participating daily as a Program Partner of 'Fringe in the Mall' - a showcase stage for Fringe artists in Rundle Mall - with its brand displayed prominently in the Fringe Guide, website, and iPhone app.
