Hardware Rental was available from 11 January 2012 and was grandfathered on 13 December 2016. At this time, customers already renting could continue to do so, but no further sign ups were available.

Requirements
You will require an Internode broadband service, that is, ADSL2+, Fibre, or Fixed Wireless broadband. Hardware rental is not available for dialup services.

Equipment Rental Return
If you need to return your rental Equipment for any reason, ensure that you also include all the accessories. To help, here is a list of the accessories, and their associated charges if they are missing. You will be charged the replacement cost plus an administration fee of $25.

Early Termination Fees
Early Termination Fees are pro-rated over the contract term.
If you do not return the Rental Equipment in acceptable condition, then the Early Termination and unreturned hardware
fees will apply.
Important legal information
- The cost of all Equipment Rental services is in addition to your monthly Internode broadband access fee.
- Internode does not provide any Equipment Rental services for Internode dialup.
- We will ensure you get tested and working equipment. The equipment will be supplied from a rental pool; this means that it may be new or refurbished equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I rent?
There are many advantages to renting equipment, including:
- Access to quality equipment that might be too expensive to buy outright.
- Equipment is guaranteed to be in working order, and will be replaced should it become faulty, without any cost to you.
- Rental costs are fixed for the term of the contract, making it easy to forecast your expenses.
- Businesses may be able to claim a tax deduction for the rental costs. However, everyone's case is different, and you will need to discuss this with your tax consultant.
What do I get when I rent equipment?
All Internode rental equipment is fully tested, configured for you, and confirmed to be working. This equipment will be supplied from a rental pool, which means it may be new or refurbished equipment.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. One of the advantages of renting for a small monthly fee is that we rent you the hardware you've chosen without a deposit.
What happens if the equipment breaks down, or is faulty? What warranty do I get?
If a piece of rental equipment is found to be faulty, a replacement unit will be sent out. This applies for the life of the rental service, not just the initial 24-month contract.
What happens if I don't want to rent the equipment any more?
If you have completed the initial 24-month contract, simply pack up the equipment and all accessories and return the equipment to us. If you have not completed the 24-month contract, note that Early Termination Fees are applicable.
