December 2017 NBN Fibre Plan Changes
On Wednesday 13 December 2017, Internode revised our NBN Fibre (FTTP, FTTN, FTTB, and HFC) plans. These plans are available now, for both new and existing customers.
These changes do not apply to NBN Fixed-Wireless.
Changes include:
- Existing NBN Fibre Silver and Gold plans have been grandfathered.
- A new range of NBN Fibre Gold plans is now available.
- As with previous NBN plan changes, the new NBN Fibre plans are not eligible for any unmetered data. Whilst you can still access the listed content, all data on these plans are counted as metered usage of your monthly broadband data quota.
All previous NBN Fibre Silver and Gold plans have been grandfathered, and are no longer available for new sign ups. Existing customers may remain on these plans if they wish, or may change plan online to take advantage of the new deals.

If you were on a NBN Fibre Silver plan…
Customers on the previous NBN Fibre Silver plans, at all quotas, will have their plan grandfathered on the day of the plan release.
- Existing NBN Fibre Silver customers do not need to take any action, but if you would like to change to a current plan, simply use our Online Plan Change tool.
- There is no change to your monthly rental, quota, roll-over date, customer contract, or any of the terms and conditions.
